Ubering Around Lima

We've used Uber for no fewer than eight rides so far. Most have cost us $3 or less, with even a 35-minute ride topping out at about $7.

We suffered one fiasco today, finally giving up getting a pickup at the  Barranco Municipal Park, where we'd visited to see by day after our Thursday night stop.

We walked two blocks away from the confusion and had our Uber ride  within four minutes. With rumors of taxi kidnappings and robberies (a hotel waiter told us that just happened to a friend), we're sticking with Uber. 10 Peruvian Soles equal about US $3.11 currently.
