Landing in Bangkok

We zipped through Thai Immigration in a Priority line and picked up some Thai Baht from an ATM.

The airport train stops at Midnight and Uber has left Thailand. Rather than rely on a tinny taxi, we prepaid for a car. For a thousand Baht, a wise investment of about US $31, we  were driven in a sturdy SUV on the 40-minute drive to our first hotel, the Doubletree.

And now it’s definitely bedtime.
