Wandering and Shopping in Venice

The contrast between the quiet streets we walked and the main tourist areas was striking.

Naturally, we had stop in a shop that sold Murano Glass.

The Rialto Bridge was covered up for renovations the last time we visited Venice. It looks beautiful.

Then it was back to the Hilton, a quick swim for the girls, a visit to the Executive Lounge, and one last taste of Gelato.

Our rooms are spacious and comfortable, and we can look forward to another excellent breakfast in the morning, a vaporetto ride back to the train station, and a 1:50 PM train to Innsbruck, as we visit the fourth country of our trip, five if you count the Holy See, Vatican City.
