Leghorn Italy... I Say I Say That's Livorno, Son!

So most of us think of the immortal Foghorn Leghorn when we hear that word.

In actuality, livorno (leghorn in English) can refer to a "fine plaited straw," a "hat made of such straw," or "a Mediterranean breed of chickens."

We enjoyed wandering around one small part of Livorno for a couple of hours, viewing the old fort, a statue of Giuseppe Garibaldi, and the area in general.
