The Tate Modern

It’s a rainy day in London (what a surprise), the Tate Modern is an easy half-block walk, and a lot of the exhibits are free, so we adjust our plans and make a quick visit to both sides of this gallery, based in a former power station.

There is a lot of so-called modern art that doesn’t appeal to us, but we find works to admire, including a number of Picassos.

This Diego Rivera painting is huge.

Other works are of limited interest

One of our favorites is this view of St. Paul’s Cathedral across the River Thames.

Now we can say we’ve visited the Tate Modern.
