New York to London on British Airways

The premium economy product on BA is quite enjoyable, especially on a relatively short daytime flight.

The flight attendants were attentive and the full English breakfast was okay.

Once landed at LHR, we were through Immigration quickly, even if Kathy’s passport wouldn’t work at the e-gate.

We got great advice at the Underground ticket machines from an employee dedicated to helping tourists.

He told us our Oyster Cards celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee were now collector’s items, and it turns out we still had several pounds of credits on them.

We added some more and now we’re ready to tour London by Tube.

The Hilton Bankside looks great (a points stay), and we celebrated with a light dinner in the hotel’s restaurant.

Tomorrow we hit London.
