A Night at The Ballet

Despite our fatigue after a long and sometimes frustrating day of touring St. Petersburg, a performance of Swan Lake provided the highlight of the day. It was performed by dancers of the clunkily translated "St. Petersburg State Conservatoire Theatre Named after Rimski-Korsakov."

While we can't claim to be ballet aficionados, we thoroughly enjoyed the production. The dancers were superb, the orchestra was thoroughly professional, and the entire production was outstanding. We were the only Regatta attendees, so we had our own guide and driver to chauffeur us to and from Row 4 seats on the aisle in the large and high-school-auditorium-like theatre. Well done, DenRus!
