Reflecting on past travels and looking ahead at possible future travels before the most recent round of point devaluation kicks in, we're looking at various "bucket lists" such as this one.
That particular list was generated from a poll of readers. What made us feel particularly fortunate was that we've visited 14 of the 20 sites (if you count Moorea as equivalent to Bora Bora).
We're still interested in visiting the places on this particular list that we haven't yet seen: Machu Picchu, Peru; Stonehenge, UK; Galapagos Islands, Ecuador; Mount Fuji, Japan; Easter Island, Chile; and Angkor Wat, Cambodia.
We could also nominate a few more places for that bucket list - several places in Turkey and New Zealand just for starters.
