Our Cambodian 'Pumping Well'

Rethy, our guide, told us about his personal project to provide rural village families with a well, hand pump, and water filter.

The cost of this is US $230, amazingly inexpensive for its impact.

Yesterday he drove us by the site of his first well. We Helped him writ an explanation on his website (below).

We ourselves were "hooked." When we paid him yesterday, we gave him $230 and asked him to send us a photo of the completed well.

That's one travel expense we'll never regret.
