Shanghai: Dining at Din Tai Fung

Since first discovering Xiao Long Bao, or Chinese Soup Dumplings, we have fallen in love with one of the ultimate comfort foods and eat them every chance we get. Whether Shanghai or Taiwan deserve the credit and glory for creating them (and we lean toward Shanghai at the moment) the fact remains that they are sublime.

Our favorite chain restaurant in the entire world, Din Tai Fung, has a branch tucked away in the corner of a shopping plaza not too far from the Hilton, so we went there for lunch. As usual, we weren't disappointed.
