We've stayed at this hotel as recently as 2011. It was known as the Hilton Prince Kuhio before being renamed the Hilton Waikiki Beach.
That's an audacious name for a property that sits about two blocks back from the beach, but it's a decent location and a lot more affordable this time around than other properties.
Incidentally, we used Hawaii23 Transportation for a private shuttle again, and it works out well. It's about the same price as Roberts ($23 each way) and is a lot quicker and more convenient.
It seems to be a small operation but we can recommend it as a Honolulu airport shuttle, given our own positive experiences. The vans aren't new and shiny, but the drivers have been friendly and safe.
