Wandering The Home of Évian

We wandered down the paths from the upper funicular station and found ourselves next to the free fountain, the source discovered in 1789.

There's a great legend attached about the sick father of a beautiful girl who promised her hand to the man who could cure him. A poor but worthy young man did just that.

Today we spotted a local (we assume) who arrived with a dozen empty bottles to fill.

No doubt it's cheaper than buying it.
