We picked it up there several hours later and noticed nobody else was allowed to board at Zattere. What a choice - you either hope there's room on the next boat 20 minutes later, you take a vaporetto at 7 Euros a person to a stop that's a 10-minute walk from the Hilton, or you hire a water taxi at about 40 Euros a trip.
We'll have more to say about this property later but we did enjoy our boat rides.
