We then checked out, made the six-minute walk to the nearest vaporetto stop (eschewing the hotel shuttle boat service), and boarded No. 2 for the stop from which the airport bus leaves.
We made the whole trip comfortably from hotel to airport in less than an hour.
Fortunately our Star Alliance Gold status gave us access to the Marco Polo Lounge, a comfortable place to relax and to watch planes land and take off until we board our Air Dolomiti flight to Munich at 1:00 pm.
