Salzburg: Back to the Salt Mine

34 years ago we took our three children, including Taegan's mother, on a salt mine tour, complete with slides and train ride.

It was fun to return for a mine tour with Taegan today.

In our coveralls...

Below is a photo of a photo we bought of us on the train for the several-minute train ride into the mine (we're far right)...

Below is another photo of a photo we bought of us sliding down the first of two slides - Whee!

Inside...

Looking back at our boat ride after getting off...

After 40 or so interesting minutes with our guide at various stops, we're back on a train on our way out, after ascending in a short cogwheel-type train back toward the surface...

It makes us appreciate how hard working at a salt mine was in the old days - and probably still is today.
