The seats aren’t too good, but the service and food remain excellent.
FRA isn’t too busy this Tuesday afternoon, and we proceed through passport control and security with virtually no wait.
Alaska and Condor are mileage partners. Condor and Lufthansa are partners. Our connecting flight to Amsterdam is on Lufthansa, so we go to a Lufthansa kiosk and print new boarding passes with our United mileage plan numbers. Presto! We’re now recognized as Star Alliance Golds, we’re relaxing in the (crowded) Terminal A Senator Lounge, and we can look forward to a piddling few Lufthansa miles deposited in our United accounts.
