Positively Positano

That ferry rocked and rolled last night and our little stateroom felt even warmer than the outgoing trip but we made it all the way back to Naples this morning without feeling any worse than a little queasy.

We splurged on a taxi ride at the ferry dock - not so bad when split between two couples - and enjoyed a magnificent drive out of Naples, past Pompeii, past Sorrento, and eventually around to the Amalfi Coast and Positano. We're staying in the Best Western Hotel Positea for the next three nights. We're getting a relative deal because it's low season. In high season here, if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it.

What a town. What views! Riding the bus from our hotel down a series of switchbacks reminded us of nothing less than Mr. Toad's Wild Ride in Disneyland. Pictures will definitely follow.

Thanks for the updates Brian and Kathy! Have you tried Bucca di Bacco, Cambusa, or Chez Black? Hope they are open.

As you can see from the photos above, we enjoyed Buca di Bacco. The others are closed for the season but tonight we're going to another restaurant, La Taglia.
