Fiji: Navua River Scenes

It was a perfect (for us) overcast day for us to enjoy the scenery from the river.

The morning glories invading and covering acres of trees in some section gave them the aura of, say, a Thomas Kinkade painting that our little camera couldn't capture completely.

Other than the occasional small clusters of cows, and once a few goats, the scenery was lush forest heading up modest peaks, with the river, very shallow in spots, running through the base of the valley it had created over a few million years.
