Our Reykjavik Arrival

The flight was pleasant, the service was friendly, and the food was tasty.

Even in Icelandair's Saga Class, we felt quite squished, especially when the seats  in front of us were reclined, as they were for most of the flight.

We parked on the ramp but it was a short walk to the terminal. Immigration was a breeze.

Our package includes a transfer to our hotel on Flybus. The first bus was already full so we boarded the next one and sat for 20 minutes. After a number of passengers straggled aboard, we departed for a 50-minute (!) drive to Reykjavik. There we transfer to a van that will take us to our hotel, the Foss Reykjavik.

We're in the bus now (free WiFi) but it's too dark to see much.

We'll feel lucky to arrive at our hotel by 9:00 a.m. Since that's 1:00 a.m. our time, a nap will probably be in order, since we didn't sleep more than an hour or two on the flight.

Departing SEA...

Delicious almonds...

Yes, it's crowded.

Tasty dinner...

A breakfast sandwich (ham and cheese-filled croissant) and fruit...

Northern Lights theme aboard. Now we can say we saw them.
