We already had our boarding passes on our phones, and were able to use them to manage the self-service bag drop.
After that we noticed that the First Class security line allowed Star Golds, so we went through a quiet line feeling special.
United hasn't sent us our "lifetime" Premier Gold cards for 2017, and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that the only documentation we needed to enter the Lufthansa Senator Lounge was our boarding passes.
Finally, it's an exceptionally quiet Friday morning in here. In the past we've sometimes had great difficulty finding a seat, but today we had choices.
We'll relax here until we board our short LH flight to Pisa later this morning.
