Aboard Riviera: Another Sea Day

We managed to fill out our online Portugal Covid arrival forms today, competing with everyone else for bandwidth.

All the passengers are supposedly getting Covid tests within a three-hour time span Sunday morning, 7:00AM-10:00AM. We’ll believe that when we see it. The clock will have been moved forward one last hour to account for Europe’s switch to Daylight Saving Time that very day.

The Captain announced today that we’ll be diverting to Funchal tomorrow for a medical evacuation. We certainly hope the individual, whether passenger or crew member, is okay.

The skies and sea are gray with a little more motion today.

Just before 6, as we finish some table tennis doubles play, a light mist starts to fall.

We wonder idly what weather lies ahead.
