Riding The California Zephyr Through Colorado

For awhile we travel alongside the intriguing "twinned" Interstate outside Grand Junction that sometimes sits at two different levels.

Across the canyon we spot the debris of an old accident, a bus that amazingly rolled just a little way down a massive hill below the road before stopping. It must have been quite a feat to remove the passengers.

We continue our travel along the Colorado River and what must be one of the most scenic rail routes anywhere.

Suddenly there's another dusting of mid-April snow at this high altitude and Kathy checks in vain for an Internet signal at a quick stop.
