We've been on the island of St. Martin / Sint Maarten a couple of times during a cruise ship stop, but have never taken off or landed from its airport, famous for the views available to beach-goers.
Fortunately the young woman in a video posted here in a Condé Nast travel blog is okay, despite a horrific-looking faceplant into a cement barrier.
Memo to Self: Do not stand behind a jet plane as it revs up its engines for takeoff.
