Munich: Our German Rental Car Is a Volvo

We landed at MUC about 10:00 a.m. September 11 and found Hertz without difficulty.

A black station wagon with all sorts of electronic bells and whistles, it's gotten us to the Stuttgart Hilton Garden Inn without a problem.

Now it's nap time.

Did you get lucky and get a car that already has an Austrian vignette or are you going to have to shell out Euro 8.50 to purchase one that's valid for 10-days?

No such luck. We do, of course, have the big city "congestion" sticker required in Stuttgart.
