A Farewell in the SEA Red Carpet Club

We're sitting in the SEA RCC waiting to board our flight for Chicago, connecting to a flight to Quebec City.

We just saw our special RCC front-counter friend, Patty, probably for the last time, since she just received notice of the transfer back to Boise that she applied for two years ago. She promised to post here after she arrives and maybe we'll carry through on our "threat" to make a quick trip to BOI to see how she's doing at a station without the RCC. She's confident she won't be working the ramp at least.

The Seattle Red Carpet Club is known as one of the friendliest clubs in the system, despite its windowless location. The employees have the "old-time" UA sense of service, and that extends to the front counter, the gate and to SEA-based flight attendants.

We'll miss Patty but fortunately there are a lot of other great people here at our "home" airport.
