Getting up an early does have its advantages. We walked past the SATS contract lounge (we've been there before and it's quite pleasant) and gained entry to the flapship Silver Kris Lounge. Wow, is it beautiful!
The lounge is large, spacious,and tastefully decorated. Brian noticed it's so elegant that it doesn't even have wastebaskets. Presumably an employee whisks away anything one wishes to discard.
It's largely deserted at 5:00 a.m. but undoubtedly is busy at other times. We sampled a variety of food from a large display of goodies. There's quite an emphasis on Asian food, which is greatly to our liking.
We're in the Business side of the lounge. We can only dream what the First Class side offers. Another new experience to enjoy before boarding our flight to HKG.
