Tonight we ate in the restaurant located in the basement of Palazzo Catalini. Since we'd skipped lunch today, we each ordered a starter. Kathy's was a ravioli with a pesto cream sauce, while Brian chose spaghetti with Ragù sauce (a basic meat sauce but not quite our bottled Ragù ).
For our secondi or main course, we both ordered Stinco di Maiale Con Le Verdure, or pork shanks with vegetables. It was delicious and a huge portion that we couldn't finish.
Staying where we are, the good news is that we'll walk off dinner with one hike down to the town center tomorrow.
