We landed early, experienced hardly any lineups at Immigration, and emerged to see a Taxidatum driver awaiting us. We'd discovered them on our April 2016 visit, and wrote the very first of many excellent reviews on Trio Advisor.
Our friendly driver drove safely and delivered us to the Hilton in about 45 minutes. For that we paid $18 plus a (generous) tip.
We were greeted warmly at the Hilton. Even the doorman remembered the woman with the long brace on her leg.
They kindly upgraded us to a suite, and after a dip in the rooftop hot tub we're enjoying happy hour in the Executive Lounge.
El Papa arrives here in a couple of days - fortunately our travel plans don't coincide with his.
