Last Bite of Vernazza: Il Baretto

We pack up a little, play some Spades, and try out the little joint near our quaint apartment where we had a quick cappuccino earlier.



We’ve had enough seafood and pasta for the day, so we settle for Caprese salad, pork roast (Kathy and Ellyn), and steak (Brian and Tom).



The 14-Euro house wine is pleasing and the service is friendly, as we’ve found throughout our stay in Italy.



We post this very early Thursday morning. Today’s travel day is literally trains (Vernazza to La Spezia to Pisa), planes (Pisa to Munich to Barcelona), and automobiles (a van transfer at BCN).  

Sigh. If only we’d slept past 3 AM...
