Lunching at Il Gambero Rosso in Vernazza

Il Gambero Roso, the Red Shrimp, is a good choice for lunch.

We share two bowls of mussels to start, one steamed and one stuffed.

Pesto was invented in this Italian region, Liguria, and Kathy and Ellyn  choose trofi pesto.

Tom enjoys this preparation of John Dory.

Brian’s plate of Spaghetti Bolognese is excellent.

A bottle of Tuscan wine complements the meal nicely.

It’s almost nap time.
