Quiet Time at YVR

Birch Bay Village friends drove us up to Vancouver Airport this afternoon, with a short detour for a delicious late lunch of xaio long bao and other delectables at R&H Chinese Foods in Richmond’s Lansdowne Centre, one of our favorite spots. Thanks, Jenise and Bob!

While they’re fighting their way back down Hwy 99 to the border, we’re relaxing as we wait for the British Airways counter to open.

At 9:10 PM we fly BA 84 YVR-LHR in F on a 747. Of the flight is on time, we have 90 minutes at Heathrow to change terminals, clear security, and catch our connecting flight to Rome. Fortunately BA offers another flight two hours later.

In Rome we take the Leonardo Express to the central train station and walk across the street to our hotel, where we’ll meet Tom and Ellyn.

Anyway, that’s the plan.
