Disembarking At Barcelona

Valencia is the third largest city in Spain and a wonderful place to wander around for a couple of hours on a sunny day. It is surprisingly clean, displays some great architecture, and was very walkable in the center.

It's about 6:00 a.m. and we're docked in Barcelona. We'll leave Insignia in a couple of hours, take a taxi to the airport, and fly our cheap route to London on Lufthansa via Milan.

Since we embarked at Buenos Aires March 15, we've sailed 6,062 nautical miles, including 1,606 nautical miles between Recife Brazil and Porto Grande, Cape Verde, and 1,126 nautical miles between Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, and Valencia Spain. Our fourth transatlantic cruise was as enjoyable as our first three, and we're already hoping to do another one in 2012.

For now, we'll concentrate on today's trip to London.
