Dinner at Giorgia in Munich

The train arrived on time. Kathy knew the location well enough to guide us off one stop early, and from there it was only one stop on the S-Bahn to Rosenheimer Platz, under the Hilton Munich City.

By then it was nearing 9:30 so we walked up the street to a restaurant that was not only open but full of happy customers.

We managed to get seats inside after a short wait, and were struck by the interior, the walls, floors, and upholstery all displaying the same striking floral pattern.

The ceiling is completely mirrored, as far as we could tell, making for intriguing selfie opportunities. Look for Brian’s bald dome.

The food was okay. Blane ate his second pizza of the day.

Kathy enjoyed her eggplant concoction.

Brian ordered a salad, and a huge salad arrived in a large salad bowl. He managed to share ample portions with Blane and Kathy before digging in.

A pleasing late dinner and then it was back to the Hilton and bedtime.
