Blane in Europe: Dinner at Majer Giudecca

We dined here twice a few years ago and had a good chat with the owner.

They’ve been closed or serving take-out only on recent visits, and we were thrilled to enjoy our last Italian dinner of the trip with them tonight.

An artichoke with anchovy sauce amuse bouche…

They have an extensive wine list.

We chose a €26 Chianti that proved to be very pleasing.

A great dinner to end our stay in Italy.

On the way back to the hotel, we asked this fisherman what he was catching.

“Orata,” he replied. Our online translation is Sea Bream.

One last chocolate gelato for Blane at the Hilton, and early tomorrow afternoon we take train to Munich.
