We find the people we have met just as friendly as we had anticipated after years of rubbing shoulders with expatriate Kiwis. The country is similarly as beautiful as we'd expected. We're driving around one modest loop on the North Island and our first impressions are of a green and tidy country. It's reminiscent of a really huge Gulf Island and every place we look there's a picture worth taking.
