Our destination was the Big Island of Hawaii, and coincidentally we flew over our former home on Saturna Island during our early-morning hop from YVR to SEA on an Air Canada Dash-8. We even spotted our next-door neighbor's dock jutting out into Lyall Harbour. In the top picture, the marina where we kept our boat is at the top, and Dave Smith's dock is a tiny little speck at the bottom left, next to our house and the spot where Lyall Creek empties into the harbor.
