Flying into CNS

Flying three hours north from Sydney to Cairns we’re definitely closer to the Equator and our approach to Cairns revealed some special views. We felt crammed in sitting at the back of the bus, especially when the middle-seat passenger in front of Kathy chose to recline her seat for most of the flight, but the friendly Qantas flight attendants made the ordeal more tolerable, and ice cream bars in Economy is a definite plus.

Oz Fest here we come!

Beautiful sky. We have limited experience in the Southern Hemisphere but your pictures remind me that the sunsets and sunrises down there are striking!
