It's less than a 10-minute walk from our hotel and we wandered around it for nearly an hour before stopping for a cappuccino and a pretzel. if we hadn't lived in Hope for 30 years, we'd find the mountains amazing. We still find them very impressive.
We stop to gaze at the famous Golden Roof.
We walk over the Inn River on the Innbrücke, the Inn Bridge, and admire the pastel colors.
For dinner tonight we're going to stroll back as far as that bridge to dine at Die Wilderin, Number One on Trip Advisor.
It will be our first restaurant meal of the trip, not counting that pretzel.
