Sheraton Bratislava; Brasserie Anjou's Plat Du Jour

Wandering idly around the Eurovea Mall next door to the Sheraton Bratislava shamefully gave us enough of an appetite to partake of the hotel's Brasserie Anjou Restaurant Plat du Jour for the second day in a row.

It's a bargain at Euro 8.50 and it was delicious. We're learning that cream and butter are used generously here. We could almost stand a spoon up in our sinfully rich Cauliflower Soup.

Tosca is on in a couple of hours across the square in the Nova Budova (new building). It's perhaps our single favorite opera (although a couple of others compete in that category) and we're looking forward to it.
