Vienna: Schnee!

Lightly snowing and a dusting of snow on our balcony this morning...

We rode Strassenbahn 38 out to Grinzing again last night to enjoy the mood and the music. It's a quiet time of year and the first heuriger we visited was almost deserted. Probably in summer it would be difficult to find a seat.

We returned to Weinbau Zum Berger and enjoyed large portions of Schweineschnitzel (pork schnitzel) with boiled potatoes as we listened to the violinist and accordionist.

This will be a leisurely Sunday for us. We may check our bags here at the Vienna Plaza and visit Mozarthaus before we head over to the Hilton Vienna Danube to check in for our one-night stay.

There are several ways to economize on public transportation in Vienna. We bought 72-hour passes as soon as we arrived at the train station, and that fits our stay almost exactly.
