This is what Venice looked like from our plane window.
We arrived at the VCE terminal as we left the MUC terminal - by bus.
We gathered up our baggage and made the 10-minute walk to the vaporetto terminal. We exchanged our voucher for tickets (saving one Euro each by pre-booking online) and boarded the floating waiting room. We came to realize that our stop was the next-to-last on the blue line and that it would be a one-hour 45-minute voyage to Guidetto and the Hilton.
We admit to snoozing along the way, but it was a beautiful day and lots to see whenever we were awake.
