Conrad Pune: Our Dinner at Koji

It's an Asian fusion joint in the hotel.

Very attractive...

We ordered two kinds of tasty Dim Sum as an appetizer.

The Tom Yum soup was very good but a little too spicy hot for our tolerance level.

Our main dishes were a Pad Thai and a Thai "Crispy Vegetables," both excellent.

It made for a pleasant evening. The bill for the food was reasonable by our standards, especially in a 5-star hotel restaurant, about US $63, but the wine...

Two glasses of Jacobs Creek Shiraz (a $7 bottle at home) totaled up with taxes to about US $15 each, or half the price of the food.

From now on, our wine consumption will be restricted to happy hour in the lounge.
