Sydney to Melbourne to Moe to Sale

Our Qantas flight SYD-MEL was perfectly fine, even sitting back in Row 26, albeit with an empty middle seat.

We savored the small lamb pie, traditional Aussie fare, handed out for lunch on the 90-minute flight.

After landing and collecting our bags, we caught the Skybus to the massive Southern Cross Station, where we bought V-Line tickets to Moe (pronounced like Maui but with an 'o').

At Moe we were met by a daughter of Bill and Sue, who drove us to her house, where Bill had arrived.

Bill drove us to Sale in their newish Subaru Outback, very much like ours in mirror image.

There we were happy to see Sue and a visiting son-in-law, as well as the charming young family who will house-sit during their absence. After enjoying the antics of their two very cute young sons for awhile, we went to bed and slept hard.

We're unsurprisingly the first ones awake, drinking coffee and enjoying the views of their house and yard.

It's great to be back on our 13th (!) visit to Australia.
