Bratislava: Magic Flute at the Slovak National Theatre

We were in the third row center tonight at the Slovak National Theatre for Die Zauberflöte. At first we wondered if we'd like it because there were a few modern twists. The dialogue was spoken in Slovakian with German translation above the stage, making it easy for Kathy to follow (Brian simply enjoyed the music).

It was a fantastic production with strong solo performances in the many important roles in this masterpiece by Mozart.

What a fabulous evening of opera!

That's a production I would have enjoyed as well. I'm glad you were able to attend.
