Changi Airport Crowne Plaza

Wow!

We saw that we'd been upgraded to a suite at the Changi Airport Crowne Plaza due to our Platinum status, so we checked out of the Sheraton Towers around noon and rode the MRT out here. Our several days of riding the MRT cost us a total of around $18 each, and we still have a couple of dollars left on our cards for a future visit.

The hotel is adjacent to Terminal 3 and connected by a flowing walkway. Our first impression of the place is that it's amazing, but after a speedy check in we are happy to be relaxing in our suite.

It's an open design with mirrors located to make it seem even larger. Once past the entry and the living area, a room divider frames an entry to the bedroom area.
The walk-in closet has more space than we'll ever need, since we intend to unpack as little as possible.
The bathroom is as impressive as the rest of the suite. Kathy is already planning a leisurely soak in the tub later.

Our suite overlooks the third-floor outdoor pool
All that holds us back from a swim is the thought of damp swim suits in our carry-ons for the next 30 hours.

In summary, it's not bad for $35 and some points.

We're planning to head over to the Changi basement for lunch, as we hear rumors of an excellent food court. In the morning we can sleep in a little later, not worry about taxis and traffic, but walk over to check in.

Yes, we're feeling pleased to the point of smugness about our hotel choice for this final night in Singapore before a 7:00 a.m. flight.
