Riding an elephant in Thailand awhile back took a lot out of us, so we were happy when one of the youngest members of our tour group, Rachel from the U.K., stepped up to ride an ostrich during our visit to the ostrich farm.
This is the same ostrich farm we visited five years ago with Tom and Ellyn, and we enjoyed seeing the world's largest birds once again, without getting too close to them.
They may look wise, but remember their eye is larger than their brain and they're, well, intellectually challenged, as we educators would put it instead of the cruel but more accurate "really stoopid Bird Brains."
